Oh, how I’ve met you a million times and I still can’t describe you.
You’re vindictive. You see me in the thorns and untangle me just to let the branch hit me in the face.
You’re delicate. You meet me in the softness of the feathers and whisper memories into my ear. You ask how nice it would be to have them forever as mine.
You’re kind as you reveal yourself in the glow of the sun and remind me that never again will that be ours.
You’re dark. You ask me why I’m here and they aren’t. You stand yourself tall and twinkle in my eye.
You’re debilitating. You laugh in my face as I stop in my tracks and feel your full force.
Oh, how I wish to be you. To meet someone with such an effect that they never forget you.
